In Memoriam B Spahr: Member of the Seneca Syndicate Born 08/20/1940 - Died 04/19/2010. When B got the call asking him if he would like to join the Seneca syndicate, his answer was a booming yes before the caller could even finish the first sentence.	In Memoriam Lee Sweet: Member of the Seneca Syndicate Born 10/29/1941 - Died 01/22//2013 Hey what's that logo on Lee's shirt? A little subliminal advertisement for the competition? His contribution to racing in general, to the Chester Classics, and to the Seneca program can not be measured.
Virginia's crew in the CYC 1919 Cup, raced on Wed. Aug. 20, 2014, was entirely decendants (and their spouces) of Hayseed IV's owner Mrs. Charles S. Wurts. From left to right Stewart Spahr, Jonna Datz, John Wurts, Andy Dayton, and Elahe Dayton. Virginia finished 4th.
